SGL Masterclass 2024

A group of pitch management professionals from all over the world, an intensive, educational event programme featuring highly-regarded guest speakers and workshops, and plenty of room for networking and knowledge sharing; hosted at inspiring locations, the Masterclass is our yearly customer-exclusive event focusing on the latest innovations in the pitch management industry. The 2024 edition will be held in Scotland, where we’ll visit three iconic stadiums and networking between stadium and pitch professionals is priority, as always.

The Masterclass is our annual customer-only event. You can register for the event through the official invitation you received from us via email in early November 2023. Please also check your spam folder.

The Masterclass programme will take you to three iconic stadiums in Scotland; on Wednesday we will travel to Hampden Park. On Thursday we will visit Murrayfield Stadium and end the day at Celtic Park. Through inspiring presentations by industry experts, interactive workshops, and impressive stadium tours, we will update you on the latest innovations in sustainable grass grow lighting, data-driven pitch management, and eco-friendly grass disease management. During the Masterclass, there will also be plenty of to time engage with fellow industry professionals, allowing you to not only acquire new knowledge but also network. Below is the time schedule for each day, which is not final yet. An update on speakers and sessions will follow soon.

Tuesday 19th of March

20:00 (8pm) – Pre-drinks at the hotel

Wednesday 20th of March – Masterclass day 1 

9:30 (9:30am) – 17:30 (5:30pm)* – Hampden Park

*There is also an evening programme on Wednesday in Edinburgh, more information will follow soon.

Thursday 21st of March – Masterclass day 2

9:00 (9am) – 16:30 (4:30pm) – Murrayfield (morning) & Celtic Park (afternoon)

If you travel by airplane, we recommend flying into Edinburgh airport. By taxi it takes you approximately 30 minutes to get to the hotel. Please note that taxi’s from the airport to the hotel and stadium are not included. We will take care of all transfers during the programme. At the end of the programme, we will provide bus transfers to both the Glasgow airport as the Edinburgh airport.

Conditions

• Registration is open to SGL customers only
• Each customer is allowed to register a maximum of three people
• There is a maximum of 80 participants
• After 80 registrations, following registrations will be put on a wait list
• Tickets are sold on a first come first serve base
• Registration closing date: Tuesday the 31st of January 2024
• As per the newly introduced Sustainability Incentive Programme, customers that use sustainable and data driven SGL technology are entitled to a discount on their Masterclass tickets. Please see the conditions of the Sustainability Incentive Programme for further details.

Payment & cancellation

• The price is based on the number of participants and the discount percentage as per the Sustainability Incentive Programme
• Your payment must be received before the 1st of March 2024 in order to be able participate in the SGL Masterclass 2024

• Cancellations received after the 1st of March 2024 will be non-refundable
• Notification of cancellation must be in writing – by email to f.vissers@sglsystem.com
