The SGL Masterclass is our customer-only event hosted at inspiring locations every year. The 2024 Masterclass edition took place on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 March 2024, in Edinburgh and Glasgow, where we visited impressive venues. We look back on a successful event and can’t wait for the next Masterclass.

In this article our focus is on Sporting Gijón, an ambitious club in the northern region of Spain, Asturias, and its recently appointed Grounds Manager: Eva Sánchez-Céspedes. We had the opportunity to ask her about how she got into the turf industry, what moved the club to purchase LED units and how she feels about data and reporting on her work.
