The position

We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator, who is responsible for the flawless processing of all incoming (inbound) and outgoing (outbound) goods. You are the key person within our warehouse and ensure that every shipment – whether service parts, inter-branch transfers, or external deliveries – is carefully checked, recorded, and processed. You take responsibility for loading and unloading trucks, performing final checks before shipments leave the warehouse, and ensuring that all goods are handled and dispatched according to the correct SGL standards. You are accurate, alert, and proactive in flagging any discrepancies or deviations from standard procedures.

You are responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and ensuring all goods are correctly registered in the warehouse management system and properly stored in the warehouse racks. You ensure that production receives the correct materials on time. In addition, you follow protocols strictly and address any deviations. Since this is a relatively new location, you actively contribute ideas for improvements in processes, systems, and warehouse layout. In this role, you will work closely with the Parts Coordinator, supporting each other and providing coverage during absences.

Key responsibilities

• Check incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quantities, and any damages.
• Process inbound and outbound parts, including loading and unloading.
• Record goods in and out of the system.
• Verify and handle waybills and other logistics documents.
• Set up and maintain a warehouse system.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct stock counts.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse.
• Perform order picking and prepare service deliveries and production orders.
• Ensure that the correct goods are dispatched according to SGL standards, performing a final check before loading onto the truck and flagging any deviations.
• Work in a clean and orderly manner.
• Foster strong collaboration between the parts and warehouse teams.
• Contribute ideas for optimising warehouse processes and further professionalising parts logistics.

Your profile

Your qualifications

• Minimum MBO level 4 (vocational education) and preferably a degree in logistics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Forklift and reach truck certification.
• Knowledge of Exact Globe is a plus.
• Proactive and flexible attitude.
• Team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent command of Dutch and some knowledge of English.
• Living in the Randstad area.
• Own transportation is necessary, as the location is not accessible by public transport.
• A passionate, organised and proactive colleague.
