The event will take place on Tuesday 6 May and Wednesday 7 May 2025 at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, France.
Olympique de Marseille (OM) is one of France’s most celebrated and historic football clubs. Founded in 1899, the club has built a legacy of success, including multiple Ligue 1 titles and a historic UEFA Champions League victory in 1993—the only French club to achieve this feat. Known for its fierce rivalries, most notably with Paris Saint-Germain in “Le Classique,” OM commands one of the most passionate and loyal fan bases in world football. The club’s home, the Orange Vélodrome, is legendary for its intense atmosphere, where fans create a spectacle of noise, colour, and energy on matchdays. With a tradition of developing top talent and a relentless drive for success, OM continues to be a powerhouse in French and European football.
The Orange Vélodrome is one of France’s most famous stadiums and a symbol of Marseille’s sporting culture. First opened in 1937, it has been renovated multiple times, most notably ahead of major international tournaments like the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship. With a capacity of over 67,000, the stadium is known for its distinctive curved roof and intense matchday atmosphere. More than just a football venue, the Orange Vélodrome also hosts rugby matches, concerts, and other major events, making it a centrepiece of Marseille’s entertainment scene. Whether packed with passionate Olympique de Marseille supporters or an international crowd for a major tournament, the stadium remains one of the most electrifying venues in Europe.
Marseille, the oldest city in France, is a dynamic and diverse metropolis on the Mediterranean coast. Founded over 2,600 years ago, it boasts a rich maritime history, a thriving cultural scene, and a unique blend of French and Mediterranean influences. The city’s beating heart is the Old Port, where fishermen still sell their catch each morning, while landmarks like Notre-Dame de la Garde offer breathtaking views over the sea. Known for its passion for sport, Marseille is home to one of France’s most dedicated football fan bases, making it an exciting destination for visitors looking to experience its energy, history, and local traditions.
