I attended the event, and it was an excellent experience. The networking opportunities were highly valuable, and the combination of networking with knowledge sharing made it a must-attend event for us. Ultimately, we all share the same goals.
Our main programme includes two days of presentations and in-depth discussions on the future of sports stadium management. To kick off the event properly and get to know each other better right away, we will organise welcome drinks on Monday evening (from 20:30), 28 September. On Tuesday, September 29, we will spend the day at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, where several guest speakers will share insights on sustainable and future-proof stadium management. On Wednesday, September 30, we will head to SGL’s headquarters in Waddinxveen, where we will also conclude the event.
In the coming weeks, we will further shape the programme and add a number of inspiring speakers. Interested? We’ll keep you updated on programme additions in the coming weeks.
We very much look forward to meeting you there!
The Johan Cruijff ArenA, named after the legendary Dutch football player Johan Cruijff, is the largest stadium in the Netherlands and a global front-runner in sustainable stadium management. The stadium host football matches of AFC Ajax, the Dutch National Football Team (both men and women) and many concerts of some of the biggest artists, like Coldplay, Taylor Swift and P!NK. Last year, we officially moved into a brand new office, a space that better reflects who we are today and where we are headed. As we have grown over the years, so have our ambitions, and this new building gives us the room and facilities to match that growth.
Despite the move, we have stayed close to our roots. Our new headquarters is just a two-minute drive from our former office, allowing us to remain in the place where it all began. It is a symbolic step forward without losing sight of where we came from.
We would love to welcome you to our new headquarter and show you around. You will be able to explore not only the new workspace and warehouse, but also our Research and Innovation Centre, which remains at our former location and continues to be a cornerstone of our development.
We always aim to stay true to our origins, which lie firmly rooted in the rose-growing sector, a world that continues to inspire us today. That’s why we maintain close ties with Porta Nova, one of the world’s leading rose growers. Their state-of-the-art facilities in the Netherlands are among the most advanced in the floriculture industry, combining innovative climate control systems, sustainable energy solutions, and precision growing techniques. Porta Nova is internationally renowned for its premium Red Naomi roses, grown with unmatched consistency, quality, and care in a setting that reflects the future of horticulture.
