How to configurate your TurfPod plan
1. Choose your hardware: select number of TurfPods and click on ‘calculate’ for your monthly hardware fee
2. Choose your software: select Assist Modules per pitch and click on ‘calculate’ for your monthly software fee
3. Choose to order or only receive your configuration in your mailbox
4. Check your email for your configuration

Assist Modules (software)

Assist modules are charged per pitch per month. Select the number of pitches you want your Assist Modules for.

Data storage and handling
An API is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. This means with API service you can retrieve and intergrate data from the TurfPods and Assist Modules on a different platform than the SGL Portal.
Advanced data
Algorithms convert the raw data into applicable analyses, which are visualized in dynamic graphs with adjustable time periods:
• Evapotranspiration analysis
• Soil reference temperature
• Turfgrass stress analysis
• Growing degree days
• Reference temperature
• Comparison to previous years
• Daily Light Integral
SGL growth model algorithms calculate your custom weekly lighting requirements, based on your quality targets, the collected data and the light transmission model. Therefore you know exactly where and how long to use your lighting units:
• Shows where and how many lighting hours are required
• Ensures efficient use of your lighting systems
• Helps to optimise grass quality
Visual mapping of all essential growth factors on your grass playing surface, based on the GPS location of your TurfPods*, to better understand the microclimate of your pitch:
• Soil temperature
• Soil moisture
• Salinity
• Light level
• Air temperature
• Humidity
*A minimum of six TurfPods is required for this module
Alerts and forecasts
Advanced 8 day weather forecast, fully customised for your location:
• Day/night view and hourly view
• Extreme weather alerts
• Including rainfall in mm, evapotranspiration, Daily Light Integral, dewpoint and cloud cover
Get alerts for your min and max values on collected data and automize your alert system.
A 7-day disease forecast shows you which diseases are likely to occur. The turfgrass disease algorithm accurately determines the pressure of all relevant fungi for your specific playing surface, based on local weather forecasts and data from the TurfPod. The Disease Forecast includes calculated UVC180 usage advice and a disease identification tool.
A 9-day advice for when the fan and when the cooling on the TC50 is recommended to be used. The Cooling Advice is calculated every night by the turfgrass stress algorithm, which accurately determines the predicted heat stress for your specific playing surface, based on local weather forecasts and data from the TurfPod.
Data input
Register pitch usage hours, pitch quality, clegg hammer readings and shear strength readings.
Register fertilizer application, lighting hours, irrigation, precipitation, UVC180 application, fungicide application and diseases.
Create custom items such as: clipping volume, mowing height, root length, NDVI, Primo Maxx etc.
Agronomical Support
Active support from our agronomy team:
• Assigned personal agronomist
• Weekly interactive reports and analyses
• Standby support and guidance during office hours
• Regular video calls

Prices are ex. tax and delivery costs. Prices (provided by way of a Quotation or a Price List) are subject to change to the prices in effect at the time of delivery. Seller reserves the right to make any corrections to prices quoted due to clerical errors or errors of omission. In the event of any specific requirements (including without limitation any design, specification, ordered quantity, or shipment changes) representing a price increase, Buyer will be notified and afforded an opportunity to confirm.
