Lighting solutions engineered from the ground up

Innovation starts in-house with the new LED series

The new LED series, consisting of the LED60, LED30 and LED10, represents a new chapter in the development of pitch lighting. Designed, developed and manufactured entirely in-house, this line introduces smarter design, greater ease of use and more refined performance. Rather than replacing the past, we’ve built on it, and incorporated lessons learned from years in the field. We’ve translated them into practical improvements that benefit grounds teams across all levels.

A smarter, stronger design

The LED60 was the starting point for a new vision: lighter, more refined and more efficient units that reflect the growing expertise and ambition behind the product. While earlier products like the LED50 have greatly served the market, the next generation had to raise the bar in every aspect even further, from mechanical design to light distribution. Covering 60 square metres, the LED60 maintains the compact size of the LED50, without compromising light quality. Its slim, rounded legs and elevated SmartBox placement minimise shadow on the turf, ensuring that no energy goes to waste.

Precision engineering with purpose

Performance was never negotiable. The new units use the latest LED technology, paired with a custom-developed lens designed by in-house engineers. “Developing a lens in-house is a huge step,” Dragan says. “It’s a complex process, simulating the behaviour of every individual LED, calculating angles, modelling uniformity and output. But because we built the lens ourselves, we didn’t have to make any compromises on what we wanted to create.”

This precision allows the LED60 to deliver stronger, more uniform lighting over a broader area, without increasing energy use. The LED30 and LED10 follow the same principle, using the same components in smaller configurations to serve different needs, while maintaining the same high standard.

The decision to expand the LED product range with differently sized models came from listening to the needs of groundsmen, and the constant drive to innovate and exceed technological boundaries. At the same time, it opens the door for modern LED grow lighting to be accessible to groundsmen at every level. “These models scale down in size, not in quality,” Dragan explains. “Whether you choose the LED60 or the LED10, you’re getting the best of what we can build.”

The power of in-house development

What makes this series truly unique is that every part of the process, from design to production, is handled entirely in-house. By in-house, we mean that the complete process is being managed internally, including design, manufacturing, testing and logistics, without relying on external suppliers for key components.

“This gives us full control,” Dragan emphasises. “If a new material or more efficient LED becomes available tomorrow, we can test it, implement it, and roll it out without delay. That’s the strength of doing it yourself.”

The expertise gained from this process also means there is no longer any dependency on standard solutions. Every component, including the lens, is designed specifically for these applications. “Because we know the pitch lighting market so well, we know exactly what needs to be developed,” Dragan says. “We’re always striving to be more efficient and deliver a better overall performance, it’s great to see that we have the people and knowledge in-house to actually deliver it.”

“This wouldn’t have been possible without our new headquarters,” Dragan adds. “Before, we were limited in terms of space and infrastructure. Now, we can stock components, assemble units, test them, inspect them and ship, all from one location.”

Expertise you can’t outsource

Why does in-house matter so much? “We don’t need to ask our customers whether they want more efficiency, that’s obvious. What we do is translate that need into tailored, field-ready solutions,” Dragan explains. “If you rely on an external engineering bureau, you have to tell them everything, round or square, this or that. They just won’t have the industry knowledge that we have.”

It is not about excluding partners, but about maintaining ownership of the core product. “We’ve built up the knowledge and competence to do this ourselves. And that puts us in a unique position in our market.”

A sustainable and local approach

In addition to improving product performance, the team also rethought how the products are sourced and built. The new LED line relies on a local, European supply chain wherever possible. Aluminium profiles are produced within Europe, LED boards are made in the Netherlands, and the custom lenses are manufactured in Germany.

“We’re working hard to keep everything close to home,” Dragan says. “Shorter transport lines reduce emissions, lead times, and give us much better control over quality. We’re not completely there yet, but we’ve made huge progress.”

Built for the future

This in-house LED series represents a new starting point and a clear indication of where the company is heading.

“Good enough isn’t good enough for us,” Dragan says. “We want it to be perfect. Lighter, more efficient, more reliable. And if it’s not available on the market, we’ll create it ourselves.”

By taking ownership of the entire process, this new series sets a benchmark for innovation in pitch lighting. It brings together performance, sustainability and user experience in a way that only true specialists can deliver.
